It has been a sincere great pleasure to be part of this European Championship at Roana. It was the first time CERILH was organizing such an event for this U18M category and also for Senior Women. Roana, which is the base camp for the Italian In Line Hockey National Teams was also testing its abilities in organizing events, with the idea to organizing the next World Championships.

I would like to thank you the players who didn’t cheat. As we can see on pictures, the spirit of sport was there, with its fair play and respect of others, with this willingness to go beyond the limits and with a winner at the end. Thank also to the organizational team. The event was really well organized, with a lot of professionalism and at the same time, being at Roana was really fun. Thank you to the referees for the job. It was a hard start but a great finish with a lot of learnings at the end. Of course, thank you to FIHP and local institutions for their support to such an event. Thank also to the press & communication team who accompanied me the 3 days. As I said, and as we can all see in all the pictures and in the press releases from the local news paper below, EUROANA2015 was a moment of pure positive energies. That is what I want for our European competitions and I hope that we all will promote in our respective countries starting now.
