Dear friends of Inline Hockey,

After 2 years of a pandemic situation and its consequences on our daily life, we are excited to announce the restart of our European project. The first event set in our agenda is the Women European League. Ris Orangis has replied to the bid published in 2021 and World Skate Europe has approved this candidacy.

The town of Ris Orangis is where this competition started, in 2017. It is, to all of us, obvious to come back in this city, after such complicated times. This city promotes Women in Sports and the reputation of the women team of “Les Phénix” (this team is a multiple winner of the women national championship) contributes to make our sport famous out there.

The club of Ris Orangis has shown its dedication to the development of our sport for women and we are all convinced it is a great place to deploy all the elements for a great event.

The town is located near Paris and close to one of the 2 airports of this city, Orly. Accessibility is easy and the venue, the “Halle Jacki Trévisan” a model of those new types of infrastructure, incorporating sustain development in its conception.

The volunteers of this club are really engaged and have a nice experience of organizing big events, as they are the core group of people managing this type of event. The Ile de France region can also count on more than 2200 In Line Hockey licenses, with a strong promotion plan to attract them and to invite local sport’s champions to meet players.
