The World Skate Europe In Line Hockey commission has met in Barcelona to frame the events plan for the next years 2020 and 2021.
With the World Championships in Columbia from 28 June 2020 to 12 July 2021 and the European nations not sending all their teams in South America on one hand, and the World Roller Games planed in Argentina during October 2021, the World Skate Europe In Line Hockey commission has decided to strengthen its event plan for the growth of our sport in Europe.
Regarding the U16/U18 Event growth this year, and the plan to welcome new European countries to this event in the future, this event is maintained in 2020 and 2021 and will count one more day to become a 5 days tournament, and two categories.
Following the constraints mentioned above, the commission has decided to set-up a Senior Women and Junior Women European Championships in a single event in 2020 and in 2021, as a plan to help the growth of Women Sport in Europe.
Obviously, the European League and Women European League are organized every year.
The 2020 schedule is as followed:
- European League : 16 to 19 April 2020 in Kalbrunn
- Women European League : 15 to 17 May 2020 (tbd)
- Senior and Junior Women European Championships : 12 to 14 June 2020 (tbd)
- U18 and U16 European Championships : 29 July to 2 August 2020 (tbd)
