The registration process for the competition is ongoing.
CERILH has proposed to 12 teams to participate to the EUROPEAN LEAGUE 2016: Rethel Ardennes (FR), Wolves Charleroi (BE), Mad Dogs Sopot (PL), ESPANYA HC (ES), HC RUBI CENT PATINS (ES), HC Laupersdorf (SWI), ihcSF Linth (SWI), HC Milano Quanta (IT), Les Tigres de Garges (FR), Hallamshire Hornets (UK), Norton Cyclones (UK), Bruxelles Phenix (BE).
Those clubs are the 12 ones that declared, in September, to be interested in participating in an European Club event.
At the time I’m editing this Bulletin #2, half of the listed teams have declared to be interested in participating, while the other half still did not give any feedback to CERILH emails and communication. To not communicate, not acknowledge receipt of an email, not share a position or intention makes coordination work more difficult. In a system built on volunteers energy to work, communication is the first key factor for success in our workflows. We miss a lot of it at the moment.
Now that the European League registration process is opened, I ask all people, invested in our sport in a European country, to promote the competition directly to teams and players. Let people know that top level European events are reorganized and that it is now accessible to them. We all need this word-of-mouth effect.
We stay focus on our goal to welcome 12 teams in march. In this bulletin you will find some updates on hotels and catering opportunities for your stay during the event. But clearly, at this stage of the registration process, feedback from clubs and representative would be much appreciated…
