Under M. Fernando Claro’s authority, CERS (Confederation Européenne de Roller Sports) president, the CERS executive members met on Saturday 31 January in Porto (Portugal).

This committee has been settled under Boris Darlet (France) as president, with Fabio Forte (Italy) and Xavi Chao (Spain) as vice presidents. Kathy Morris (UK) will also closely collaborate to this committee, as well as Manuel Sutter (Switzerland).

The main topic for the committee is the organization of nations European In Line Hockey Championships for categories, as well as to prepare to alternate between world competitions and continental competitions.

The project presented by CERLIH members is based on two European competitions for nations, organized in September 2015:

  • European Championship U18 Men (1st weekend of September)
  • European Championship Women Senior (1st weekend of September)

For clubs, the CERILH wants to set up two separate competitions, to be organized on 2015-2016 season:

  • Champions League champions open to clubs in their country
  • The Confederations Cup

The final topic to end this meeting was the periodicity of the world Roller In Line Hockey championships: the European authorities wish to raise awareness the CIRILH chairman to a bi-annual organization for technical and financial issues.
